Dr. Eng. Khoirul Anwar, ST., M.Eng. Dr. Anwar received Bachelor degree (cum laude) from the Department of Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Bandung, Indonesia in 2000. He received Master and Doctor Degrees from Graduate School of Information Science, Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Nara, Japan, in 2005 and 2008, respectively. He received best student paper award from the IEEE Radio and Wireless Symposium 2006 (RWS’06), California, USA, Best Paper of Conference held by Indonesian Student Association (ISA 2007), Kyoto, Japan in 2007, Best Paper Presenter for the Advanced Technology in International Conference on Sustainability for Human Security (SUSTAIN), Kyoto, October 2011, Indonesian Diaspora ”Award for Innovation”, Congress of Indonesian Diaspora, Los Angeles, USA, July 2012, Achmad Bakrie Award 2014, Jakarta, December 2014, and Anugerah Gubernur Jawa Barat for the category of ”Internationally Recognized Contributions”, Kolokium BP3IPTEK, Jawa Barat, December 2016.
Dr. Anwar was in the University of Melbourne, Australia, 2007 and University of Oulu, Finland, 2010 as a visiting researcher. In September 2008, he was with the School of Information Science, Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) as an assistant professor. Since September 2016, Dr. Anwar is with the school of electrical engineering, Telkom University, Bandung, Indonesia as an associate professor and the director of the Center for Advanced Wireless Technologies (AdWiTech). Dr. Anwar’s technique is adopted by the international telecommunication union (ITU), ITU-R standard No. ITU-R S.2173 ”Multi-carrier-based transmission techniques” also in ITU-R S.1878 ”Multi-carrier Based Transmission Techniques for Satellite Systems”. His research interests are network information theory, error correction coding, iterative decoding, coding for super-dense networks and signal processing for wireless communications. He serves as a reviewer for a number of main journals and conferences in the area of wireless communications, coding theory and signal processing. Dr. Anwar is a senior member of IEEE (Information Theory society, Communications society) and a member of IEICE, Japan.
Suryo Adhi Wibowo, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. was born in Bandung, Indonesia. He received his bachelor degree in 2009 and master degree in 2012, in Telecommunication Engineering from the School of Electrical Engineering, Telkom University, Bandung, Indonesia. In 2018, he graduated and received a Ph.D. degree from Pusan National University. He joined Telkom University as a lecturer in Telecommunication Engineering and also as a researcher in the computer vision laboratory. In 2018, he joined AdWiTech as the vice director. His research interests are Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Virtual Reality, Machine Learning, and Wireless Communication System.
Budi Syihabuddin, S.T., M.T. was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. He received his bachelor degree in 2008 and master degree in 2012, in telecommunication engineering from School of Electrical Engineering, Telkom University, Bandung, Indonesia. In 2010, he joined Telkom University as a lecturer in telecommunication engineering and also as a researcher in microwave laboratory. In 2016, he joined AdWiTech to analyze the EXIT Chart for Polar Codes. His interests and publications are in RF microwave devices, wireless communication system, and embedded system. He was a co-chief engineer in the project for the development of a nanosatellite system for educational purposes.
Dr. Nachwan Mufti Adriansyah, S.T., M.T. received his Bachelor degree in 1999 in telecommunication engineering from School of Electrical Engineering, Telkom University, Bandung, Indonesia and his Master degree in 2005 from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). He received his Doctoral degree in 2016 from Universitas Indonesia (UI). He has joined Telkom University as a lecturer in telecommunication engineering since 2001. In 2016, he joined AdWiTech as the first vice director. His interests and publications are in wireless communications, antenna and propagation, and electromagnetism.
Dr. Eng. Willy Anugrah Cahyadi, S.T., M.T. was awarded a Doctor of Engineering degree from the Department of Information and Communications Engineering, Pukyong National University, Busan, Korea in 2019. He received a BSc. in the Electrical Engineering and MSc. in Microelectronics from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia, in 2008 and 2012, respectively. His research interests are optical camera communication, Internet-of-Things, and multimedia-oriented optical communication. He is currently employed as a researcher and an administration staff in AdWiTech.
